BMP21 / BMP21-PLUS / BMP21-LAB - dark vertical line appearing in the first label of a print job

When the print head is left in the closed position the pressure from the print head to platen roller will cause a vertical pressure point line (or residual burn line) to appear on the tape. Tests have shown this can happen in as little as 10 minutes. If this line isn't acceptable, the work around would be to unlock the print head as soon as you are done printing so the warm printhead doesn't burn the ink from the ribbon onto the next label sitting under the printhead.
