BBP85 and PowerMark Media Compatibility
The BBP85 and PowerMark materials are very similar, however not all PowerMark media will work in the BBP85 and vice-versa. If material is incompatible the BBP85 may display "Invalid Supply - Error reading media memory cell - Insert media memory cell again or replace media - if error persists, contact technical support".
Error #64 appears when trying to use a ribbon in the BBP85 that has a touch cell programmed to work with Only a PowerMark printer.
Error #49 appears when trying to use a label roll in the BBP85 that has a touch cell programmed to work with Only a PowerMark printer.

Additional Compatibility Indicators
For Ribbons and Label Materials that have a Purple touch cell "flag":
If the label on the flag has a letter "A" on the upper right, the material / ribbon should work in Both BBP85 AND PowerMark
If the label on the flag does Not have a large letter "A" on the upper right, the material / ribbon will work in PowerMark ONLY
For Ribbons and Label Materials that have a Yellow touch cell "Flag":
If the label on the Flag says BBP85 ONLY, then that material Only works in the BBP85 printer
If the label on the Flag says BBP85 AND PowerMark, then material / ribbon will work in Both BBP85 AND PowerMark printer
