20Printer too cold. Print job canceled.The Printhead has not reached operating temperatureNormal operating range is between 50-104° F (10-40° C). Allow printer to warm up to operating temperature before
printing.
48Memory Media Validation FailedIncorrect supply installed. Media sensor cannot detect supply type.Open cover and install tape correctly. Ensure material is BBP85 compatible (check smart cell flag)
49Memory Media Connection FailedPrinter cannot read/write to the smart cell.Open cover and install tape correctly. Ensure material is BBP85 compatible (check smart cell flag!!)
50Memory Media CRC FailedData in smart cell may be corrupted.Open cover and install tape correctly. Try a different roll of material.
51Memory Media Incorrect VersionThe Tape cell is the wrong version. Printer version is not validThis would indicate that the machine requires a firmware upgrade.
52Memory - Media Remaining = ZeroNumber of feet stored in tape cell has decremented to Zero.The smart cell on the material has a pre-programmed number of feet it allows it to print. Once this number is reached, the smart cell shows this message. This can occur if the user is removing the smart cell "flag" and using it on another roll. DO NOT REMOVE the smart cell flags.
57Ribbon Out - Detected purple trailer at end of ribbon roll.Ribbon has reached the purple trailer at the end of the roll. The print job will continue with a new ribbon.Replace the ribbon.
58Ribbon Out - Detected purple trailer at end of ribbon roll.Ribbon Out. The printer believes the ribbon has reached the end of the roll. Print Job is Canceled.Open printer and Replace the ribbon and close the cover, press the Feed key, then the Cut key to discard the unfinished label.
61Memory - Media Direct ThermalRibbon is loaded, but material is direct thermal.Direct Thermal media types do not require ribbon. Remove the ribbon and proceed.
62Memory - Ribbon Too NarrowRibbon is more narrow than the tape installed, and will cause problems.Install the correct SIZE ribbon for the tape being used.
63Install Ribbon ColorThe machine has detected that the ribbon installed does not contain the colors needed to complete the printjob.Install the correct color ribbon into the printer, or select "continue with current ribbon"
64Memory - Ribbon Validation failedCode in Ribbon smart cell is incorrectOpen cover and check that ribbon is installed correctly. Try a different ribbon, or replace ribbon if problem persists.
65Memory - Ribbon Connection FailedNo ribbon installed or printer cannot read / write to the smart cell.Open cover and check that ribbon is installed correctly. Check the ribbon smart cell flag to ensure it is BBP85 Compatible!!
66Memory - Ribbon CRC FailedRibbon smart cell corrupted.Replace the ribbon.
67Memory - Ribbon Incorrect versionThe ribbon cell is the wrong version or the printer version Is not validThis usually indicates the printer requires a firmware upgrade.
68Memory - Ribbon Remaining = ZeroNumber of feet stored in ribbon cell has decremented to Zero.The smart cell on the ribbon has a pre-programmed number of feet it allows it to print. 69Memory - Media /Ribbon MismatchThe Preferred ribbon or secondary ribbon type does not match the installed media typeInstall correct ribbon type.
80Cutter does not cutThere is a Jam in the cutterClear media path at cutter. If the material is cleaned out the cutter, Unplug the power cable of the printer for a few minutes, then plug it back in to cycle the cutter.
84Expected Color panel not detected.The printer timed out while searching the ribbon for the expected color panel. The memory cell indicates the color is there, but the system can't find it.Try cleaning the ribbon color sensor with compressed air and/or alcohol. Also try installing a different ribbon.
85Printer ErrorPrinter has advanced die-cut media but cannot detect the notch. Sensor may need cleaning or be failing.Check and clear media path, then reload media.
