Loading the Thermal Transfer Ribbon
Open the cover by pulling up on the bottom of the yellow latch.
Note: The cover pops open quickly. To ease the opening, place a hand on the cover as you release the latch.
With the cartridge tab on top, the label sticker facing towards you and the Brady logo on the bottom, place the exposed ribbon over the print head and push the cartridge forward until it snaps into place.
Turn the ribbon spindle knob to tighten the ribbon over the printhead.
Close the cover.
Loading the Label Media
Open the cover by pulling up on the bottom of the yellow latch.

Swing the media wiper bar up, out of the tape well.
Grab the label roll. The tape should be coming off the top of the roll and the smart cell on the left.
Place the label roll in the tape well, lining up the smart cell with the reader.
Thread the label under the media guides until the label covers the black platen roller.
Pinch the yellow media guide to move the media guides until they are lined up with the edges of the label liner.
Lower the media wiper bar if using continuous material.
