Create Fixed-Length Labels
Create a label where the continuous-media label length is set, not variable. Once selected, the printable area shown on the label is reduced by the amount of the leader/trailer required for the installed supply, so that the total label length output matches the selected length.
Note: The label size for die-cut media is already set and cannot be adjusted.
- Select Menu on the Home page.
- Select Size & Orientation in the menu list.
Note: You can also access the Label Size & Orientation box by selecting the Label Size text at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Fixed Length on the Label Size & Orientation dialog box.
- Enter the desired label length in the Length field.
Note: Minimum supported length is 0.5 inches (12.7mm). Maximum supported length is 120 inches (3048 mm).
- Select OK. The Status Bar indicates the new label length.
