Follow directions for "Aligning Objects" to center items Vertically.
- The printer cannot determine the center of a continuous label, because it could be anywhere from .5" to 120".
- The label can be set to "Fixed Length" to allow objects to be centered from left to right (Horizontally).
- The directions for setting "Exact Size & Position" may prove helpful in centering Horizontally on a Non-Fixed length label.
Align Objects
- Select the object you want to align in the Editor.
- Select More Options right arrow twice to go to the alignment Control Panel.
- Choose the alignment option(s) you want. Changes are immediately reflected in the Editor.
- Center on Label: Positions the object in the vertical or horizontal center of the label. Centering horizontally is ONLY available for Fixed Length labels.
- Align to Label Edge: Align object to top, bottom, left or right of label edge. If the object already reflects as option, or if the option cannot be used for this object, the button is greyed out.
Note: If an option is unavailable, or if the object already reflects the change, the option button(s) are greyed out.
Example:
To move an object to the upper left corner:
- Select (top).
- Select (left).
Set Object Position
- Select the object you want to align in the Editor.
- Select the right arrow twice in More Options to go to the alignment Control Panel.
- Select Exact Size & Position.
- Enter a value for:
- Distance from the top of label (Y coordinate).
- Distance from left edge (X coordinate).
- Select OK when done. The object is displayed at the specific position.
Note: If the values entered result in the object being positioned outside the printable area, the system resizes and repositions the object to fit on the label.
