Body | BBP12 Screen FreezingIf your BBP12 printer freezes occasionally when powering on during the Brady splash screen, a firmware upgrade will be required to resolve this issue.
IMPORTANT: If the printer will not boot regularly and freezes every time you attempt to power it on, the printer will require service in order to fix this since there is a battery internally that needs to be removed and replaced. If you do not experience this issue and are on a firmware that is below 1.95.1, it is strongly recommended to upgrade the firmware proactively to avoid this issue in the future.
NOTE: There is a newer firmware version available for download on BradyID that still prevents the screen freeze upon powering on, and additionally fixes the following two issues:
- Real Time Clock stays current - from the time set in printer's front panel menu: Advanced / Date & Time.
- LCD going blank issue fixed.
Please contact Brady Technical Support if you having any issues updating the firmware. |
