- Verify the ribbon is the correct type to use with the label material you have. BBP12 Ribbon and Label Compatibility Chart provides more information regarding compatibility.
- Make sure ribbon is installed in the correct way. Verify this by sticking a label or piece of tape to the ribbon. If ink comes off on the label then the ribbon is installed correctly. If ink does not come off, turn the ribbon around. Refer to How to Load Label and Ribbon into the BBP11/12 for more information.
- Make sure print temperature is high enough. Verify the settings in the Print Driver < Printer Preferences < Options < Temperature. 7-11 is usually best for most materials.
- LabelMark has to be version 3.2 or later. The BBP11 does not print properly from earlier versions of LabelMark. Make sure Brady Workstation is at the most recent version.
- Make sure you have the latest driver version from BradyID.com.
- Try a different power cord and power supply.
