IssueAfter loading label supplies in the A6500, feed is selected. Either the first label in the A6500 advances or no label advances at all. If feed is selected a second time, the label does not advance. Instead, the label tension has excess slack behind the label deflector. Troubleshooting
- Verify that the labels are installed correctly and the rollers are locked in place.
- If neither of these correct the issue, manual adjustments are needed to one of the nuts located on the clutch.

- Turn the nut on the clutch by 1/4 of a turn towards you if facing the front of the printer with the LCD or counter-clockwise if you are facing the printer where the side door is open.
Important: It is important not to overturn the spool as this can cause further issues.
If the 1/4 turn does not adjust the tension, do one final 1/4 turn. There should be space on either side of the nut.
- Turn off the printer and try to feed the labels.
