Remove Spent Label Backing
Important: Always remove the spent label backing when changing supplies in the printer. DO NOT tape together partial rolls in the rewinder. Too much label backing accumulating on the spool could damage the motor. Monitor the spool in the rewinder and empty as needed.
- Use the tear blade to separate spent backing from the label roll by lifting up and to the side to tear the backing.
- Open the clear door on the front of the rewinder.
- Pull out the yellow knob on the left side of the spool. This releases the material and slides it off the spool.
- Remove the spent material by puling the labels off of the spool.
- Push the yellow knob in until it clicks back in place.
