The Wire or Cable Tension can be turned on or off in the settings menu to adjust when the printer applies tension to achieve a smooth wrap.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap System Configuration.
- Tap Apply Tension.
- Tap Off or On.
Off: When off, the jaws on the printer clamp the wire, but do not apply tension. This can be useful for cables sensitive to tension, such as fiber optic cables, but can decrease the quality of the wrap.
On: Recommended for normal operation. When on, the jaws on the printer clamp onto the wire and apply tension to achieve a smooth wrap.
