- After loading labels, a user presses Feed and the labels go in reverse.
- The reel spools up instead of advancing the labels.
CauseThe notch sensor is looking for the notch, when it can't see the notch the printer rewinds labels until a notch is found. The user has likely moved from a larger label to a smaller label size, so the position of the liner is such that the notches will not be registered by the sensors. ResolutionWhen going from a wider label to smaller label, you want to make sure you placed the flange guide in place. If you do not adjust this, the notch sensor will not be able to detect the notch in the liner and will back up the liner in an attempt to look for the notch.
