The serial number on the BMP41 is located on the print mechanism assembly located under the label cartridge.
To view the serial number, release the locking switch holding the label cartridge in place and press up on the black button on the bottom of the printer to eject the label cartridge.
The serial number will be located on a white Brady Label with a barcode, as seen in the picture below.
